Why Is B&b As Expensive As A 3 Or 4 Star Hotel?

24 Nov 2009I wonder why Bed & Breakfast is as expensive as a few 3 or 4 star hotel. At least this is what I find based on my search for Milan, Rome and Venice.
If that is so, I wonder why it is the most popular option.

Hotels Near Malpensa?

24 Nov 2009Some of my family and I are traveling to Italy this Christmas break :]
I am looking for a hotel that can fit all of us (9!) near the Malpensa airport in Milan. We are looking for two rooms to split us or three if necessary. I’ve been looking all day for a hotel that is near the airport and that can fit all of us but I’ve found the majority of hotels fit only 2 people in a room…and are expensive for just one room.
If anyone can give suggestions of where I can find a decent hotel or help out I’d REALLY appreciate it. We’ll be checking in January 3rd, 2009 and checking out the next day. We don’t need the room to be fancy or anything, just to fit us in two or three..we won’t be there long! Have you guys stayed anywhere that could fit us?
I have some tabs open of hotels…please let me know if you’ve stayed there and what you thought!

Me and my dad will be visiting my friend in Milan this June. The problem is that I don’t know of many hotels near that airport (I had looked at hotels near LIN). My friend will help me if I ask him, but I hate to bother him with a simple question.
We (my dad and I) are wanting easy transportation, preferably in the city (where my friend lives). We’ve never been to Europe before, so we don’t know what to expect.
Could anybody help me please? Or maybe post a website? Thanks to all who answer!
